Higher Education Emergency Fund (HEERF) Application Submission
The CARES Act includes a Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund (HEERF). At least fifty percent of HEERF funds must go directly to eligible students in the form of emergency financial aid grants for expenses related to the disruption of campus operations due to the COVID-19 crisis (HEERF Student Share Grant Funds).
Students in associate's, bachelor's, graduate, professional and certificate programs during the Spring 2020 semester may apply for the HEERF Student Share Grant Funds.
The University's HEERF Student Share Grant Policy presents the University's methodology for determining eligibility under the CARES Act, as well as the process and procedure for distributing and disbursing the HEERF Student Share Grant Funds.
As part of the application process, you will be asked to upload supporting documentation (e.g., receipts) or an explanation for expenses you incurred beginning March 13, 2020 related to the disruption of campus operations.
Applications submitted by June 10, 2020 will be included in the Priority Application Period.
